How to perform this exercise?

  • Place one foot one behind you on a bench and one foot in front of you on the step
  • Find a stance that feels comfortable and that allows you to go down to a horizontal position, preferably even deeper when using the step
  • Move up and down in a controlled tempo while keeping your torso in an upright position
  • Keep your knee in line with your foot during the entire movement
