Seated Calf Raises

Main muscle worked: Soleus (deep calf muscle)

How to perform this exercise?

  • Place your feet on the step/pad, toes facing forward
  • Stand on the balls of your feet (about 1/3 of your foot)
  • Raise your heals by extending your ankles
  • Work in a controlled tempo on the way down
  • Make a little stop at the bottom before going up again
